I opened an old book at random and let chance decide my first-ever erasure poem. What followed was an unexpectedly absorbing deep-dive into its worn pages, and the result became The E____ of R________h. I’ve even stumbled on a passage about the 1708 French invasion attempt—clearly begging for its own blackout treatment—but that adventure will have to wait.
