Frail

Frail is today’s Inktober Prompt – so I’ve sketched a gentle elderly couple. I have also quickly jotted down a sketchy rhymey (sort of) verse to illustrate the picture – not the greatest poem I have to admit, but anyway, this is a drawing challenge! (poem needs more work on but hey, let’s get it out there!)

When I am old and frail

Will you take my arm

alongside, my dear?

To keep me near

beside you, here.

And stay up close

In juxtapose

doddering along the trail.
