Today is Earth Day, and it is also the day when Turnbull & Assers launch my son Daniel’s drawings depicting three of the most endangered species in a series of limited-edition pocket squares.

Turnbull & Asser

Turnbull & Asser are the definitive British shirtmaker and holder of a Royal Warrant for shirt-making and have partnered with my son Daniel Perkin to create a series of pocket squares featuring his drawings of three of the most endangered British animals.

There are three designs in the range of endangered British wildlife

  1. the hedgehog (sobering to know that our beloved hedgehog is on the endangered list!)
  2. the Scottish wild cat
  3. and the pine marten.

You can view the limited-edition pocket squares on Turnbull & Asser’s site.

Art to raise awareness and 20% of profits from each sale for wildlife protection

The survival of these animals is crucial to maintain the biodiversity of Britain’s natural woodlands. The partnership between Daniel and Turnbull & Asser is an attempt to use art as a means to raise awareness. 20% of profits from each sale of the limited-edition pocket squares are being donated to The Wildlife Trusts. This will make a positive contribution to the protection of these endangered animals.
