And In That Moment: a senryū

Deepthy is this week’s Poet of the Week for the W3 Weekly #73 poetry prompt. Here are her prompt guidelines.

I wrote a senryū to include the quote by Stephen Chbosky. My feeling is that I am a cheat, as his words make up two-thirds of my poem. I painted the abstract digital painting in pink as I’ve decided the universe is pink in That Moment.

  1. Your poem ͏is so beaut͏iful! 😍 It captures the mag͏ic and wonder of a moment when everyth͏ing feels ͏inf͏in͏ite. The ͏imagery of be͏ing stars ͏in outer space ͏is so evocat͏ive and dreamy. It’s as ͏if you and the person you’re descr͏ib͏ing are transcend͏ing the boundar͏ies of t͏ime and space, becom͏ing part of someth͏ing greater. The ͏idea of be͏ing ͏inf͏in͏ite ͏in that moment ͏is so powerful and ͏insp͏ir͏ing. 🌹 👍👌😊
