I Hold Your Love: a septolet

Poet D. Avery is this week’s Poet of the Week for the W3 Weekly We’ave Poetry Prompt. She invites us to write a septolet that refers to something that is held.

WARNING NOT TO OPEN: A click here will reveal a film still of me playing a police forensics officer holding a heart in her hand. This memory inspired my first attempt at a septolet, I Hold Your Love.

I did warn you not to look.
