I’m excited to present to you a second three-person rengay poem, Along a Dusty Road, written by Melissa and David and myself.
Drum roll please!
Along a Dusty Road
A second collaborative poem by poets Melissa Lemay, David Bogomolny, and me.

ml. farmer’s roadside stall
filled with daisies, sunflowers
crickets hide from heat
ls. rhythmic chirrs in sun hazed warmth,
a rusty truck passing raises dust
db. bees buzz round mangoes
frustration... sure- just {fig}ures
~ such super sour grapes
ml. cows standing in a field
swish their tails to swat at flies
ls. 'can I buy daisies?'
the farmer’s snoring aloud
'… and some sunflowers?'
db. the competition beckons-
'try my farmhouse cheddar cheese!'
