A Werewolf’s Warning

The night is dark,
The night is chill,
I’ll have my way,
You know I will.
Don’t go out,
lock your doors,
Do not venture
on the moors,
The night is black,
The air is still,
If I don’t get you,
The vampire will.

I narrated this poem for fun. It was late at night and the moon was keeping me awake!
Dorahak’s vampire prompt for the D’Verse poets, quadrille #208–Undead to the World, inspired me to write my poem, A Werewolf’s Warning. The prompt was to write a quadrille (a poem of just 44 words), including the word vampire (or a derivative thereof).

Enormous thanks to Dorahak and the d’Verse Poets.
