leaden clouds gather
seagulls cry skimming wild waves~
wind gusts surge in strength~
white stallions charge the shoreline~
sea spray gasps upon soft sand

I wrote my tanka poem to the W3 Prompt #133. Where the Poet of the Week, Carol Anne, invited us to write either a tanka, a haiku, or a senryū. The poem must include the word strength.
