I wrote my poem With Colour, in response to Lisa Msjadeli’s d’Verse Quadrille #213: with a little help prompt. To write a poem incorporating the word with. I missed the deadline.
I appreciate the opportunity to publish it now for Lilian’s OLN.
With Colour

The sky was clear,
with cobalt shades of blue—
and glorious blush of red,
purple, pink,
and orange hue;
above red trees,
a bird of prey,
with corvids flew,
spiralling with the breeze—
weaving twilight’s golden threads in play,
the sunset was magenta too.
