  13. The poem is not only about a rainy afternoon: it is a brief elegy, a tribute disguised as a memory, where love survives in the simple things that a loved one left behind. The coat, the smell, the pipe… are tangible remains of a presence that, although absent, continues to wrap the heart of the speaker.
