I’ve not heard LONDON so quiet

I’ve not heard LONDON so quiet
Where is the noise, the voices, the riot?
There are no faces; and a hush in the places
of hustle and rush.
In the streets, alleys and roads,
A silence
Forbodes. 
There is nothing but— 
Hush
