Drumroll, please. For I am the W3 Prompt #76 We’ave Written Weekly Poet of the Week! Thank you Suzette Benjamin for honouring me thus.

My poetry prompt is to write about THE SUN in free verse. In answer to my prompt, I wrote my poem, SOLAR STORM. 

I thank all the poets who will write to this prompt. I look forward to reading the poems very much. It will be a difficult task to be the appointed judge to choose the poem and next week’s POTW, but I shall strive to do my best.

Lesley lives in the City of London Square Mile. An artist, actor and sculptor (her first ceramic sculpture won the V&A inspired by… Award). Scenic artist & book illustrator, playwright, (her musical play, Rapscallion performed in inner city schools and theatre school); TV dancer; Animator and illustrator for TV production. Set up Pinecone Studios Ltd and IIMSI Ltd drama and filmmaking workshops in London – producing award-winning films made by children.

  15. Lesley the internal rhymes and the end rhymes made me giddy as I read these stanzas! I don’t think it would be allowed to choose yourself but this one is very very good!
