Belongings is the first poem I wrote to Destiny’s prompt.

Finally, I wrote, They Say I belong in a Loony Bin.

  1. Haha! Loved the last one the best- not that I think you’re bonkers but I too make fun of myself occasionally.

  4. They’re all enjoyable, Lesley, and thought-provoking as to the meaning of ‘belonging’.
As for the third one, that drawing is hilarious. 😁 I think you are slightly bonkers, in a fun sort of way, and that’s why we love you . . . and why we belong together. 😊

  8. These poems are great! So, right many ways you could go with this prompt.

Hey, I played in a conkers “tournament” this year and I tied with another. Nothing like a friendly game of conkers to make you feel like you belong! Still have my champion conker.

      1. Lesley – it’s not my artwork – it’s a free image I found online – I haven’t really used AI to create any images… I usually do searches for free images online to accompany my blog posts, so you can use any of them!

      2. Thank you 🙏 (I’ve decided against using AI—I enjoy drawing too much x)
