           means both umbrella and sunshade

          the shade of the tree shields
          from some icy flakes
ls:      snow-laden awning bows low
         alors! a sharp prod flurries shift
db:     blanketed courtyards
           noon sunlight’s  gleaming  beauty
           too   bright!   we don shades
ml:     tabhair aghaidh ar an ngrian
          ach cas do dhroim leis an stoirm
