    1. Thank you, Heather 🙏 Will this evil only end when all the rhino are gone‽ Slaughtered for a cultural myth and keratin. The rhino horn is made up of the same stuff as our hair and nails.

  5. Poaching of rhinos is done for traditional medicines in China and some other countries. How can killing someone to cure another ever be justified!
I love this, Lesley, for its message, for how moving it is and for its gentle tone. 🙏🏼❤️🙇🏻‍♀️

  7. Lesley, this poem feels both vivid and mournful. The imagery creates a powerful narrative, making the rhino’s fate deeply felt.

  9. You took the prompt and made an important and poignant statement. Well done.

As for the visuals, the hand painted ones are far superior to AI generated images.

  11. My heart breaks reading this, Lesley. But it also angers me thinking of the poachers who kill these magnificent creatures for monetary gain. The bastards should be taken out back and shot. They are worthless.

    Your verse was gorgeous.
