A Three-person Rengay

ml: drifting quietly
in the late summer sun
the sounds of wind chimes
ls: a rocking chair stirs creaking
forward and back… forward and…
db: standing by their seats
bodies shuckling in prayer
like flames in the breeze
ml: moths drawn toward the light
flickering — from a faraway candle
ls: the distant window
a beacon in the wilderness
of gathering dusk
db: a straying ship
faint lighthouse through foggy strait
