Tidal turmoil of tumultuous, plangent rumblings
Urgent unguents oozing deep in hidden seething shifts;
Mayhem breathing vapour mists
Upstream streams astir from slumber’s sleep in the languid
Lake; tumblings swirl the waters upon the surface in seething shake
The sleeping beast, Plastrox the Malevolent is awake.

My thanks to David and his weekly motivating W3 Prompt #55: Wea’ve Written Weekly. I thank the poet of the week, Punam, for her wonderful acrostic poetry prompt. I enjoyed this poetic challenge. The list of choices put me into a tumult!—which one to choose?
Punam’s prompt guidelines
•Write an acrostic poem on any one of the following words:
1.Discipline;
2.Enthusiasm;
3.Meditation;
4.Tumult;
5.Trouble.
NOTE
Plastrox the Malevolent
The character Plastrox the Malevolent is my interpretation of the demon of plastic ocean pollution.
Write a dialogue poem between the two, perhaps? 😁
Two powerful characters in fantastical conflict – then put it to music 😁🎸
Appreciate your compliments, Tanmay 🙏
The children are happy and free
But shouldn’t be there—
believe me!
it’s a big, Big mistake!
To play by the lake.
Young George doesn’t care
(he’s only five—and will be lucky to get out of there alive).
George drinks a lemonade and tosses the bottle in the air
(His throw is good considering he is so small)
But he couldn’t care less where the plastic bottle will fall
The bottle flies high and fast with the wind
It lands with a splash
in the middle of the lake.
(Big mistake)
(building up to introduce your Nemue, Lady of the Lake. Feel free to cut/edit as is in first draft. is George a good name for a foolish little boy in a grand dramatic fantasy poem such as this is going to be? 😂)
George is a great name… He can slay the monster with Excalibur, given on loan… These fantasy authors just take regular names and make slight variations, but since this is set in the real world it shouldn’t matter. I’ll respond soon. All my creativity has been sapped for the day. 😅
Yes, we definitely need a slingshot involved in this battle. The plot is really coming along. Excalibur might be too much for kids to handle… A wooden child of that legendary sword will have to do? Is Ycalibur a good name? I can’t think of anything punny enough.
I’ve added to the epic, and put it all together. I think we are almost at the finish line Should I post it in this comment section or on my blog? It’s long, so it would make this space look very messy and hard to navigate.
Will do… Be wary of bots when you post your email address in public. Like putting in . Or * in between letters. My WordPress email is l.i.t.t.l.e.t.h.omas1757@gmail.com without the dots. I’ll send it to you now
