  1. You mean you didn’t get the owner’s manual when your boys were born?? 🤣 The toughest job in the world, being a parent, and nobody really knows what the hell they’re doing! It’s a wonder our kids turned out as good as they did! I dropped mine on their heads a few times! Totally by accident, no matter what they may say! 🤣
    Great write, Lesley! 🩶

    1. 🤣😂🤣 I’m so glad you’re the same and understand! 😂 I don’t think I ever dropped mine 🤔 I tried to send them back a couple of times 😂
      I know nothing.

      1. I didn’t exactly drop them. They sort of rolled off the changing table when my back was turned. Those restraining straps back then were pretty damn worthless! THUD!! 😂😳😱🙄😯😂

  6. Those are two handsome young men, Lesley!

    I follow my instincts,
That’s the only way, is it not?

Pretty much… what else can we do?

Also – why do you think they hid your clothes? Maybe it was your cat! 😼

    1. The lack of clothes was the statue talking (‘Twas but my use of artist licence). They’ve never hidden my clothes in true life.😁 You can’t believe everything you read, David.
Those two handsome young men are my pride and joy. ❤️ Thank you so much xx

      2. ‘Twas a fantasy cat in the poem (thou cannot believe everything you read😁) We could use a couple of your feral cats! We are plagued by mice. Got a new one with a short tail. At least we caught the smelly one and relocated it to the wildlife garden where the fox can have it for lunch.

      3. you go with your bad mouse-catching self! 😀

  7. David said it true. We do our best, and a what a wonderful result you have!
And I’m sure we all can agree that no one could have told us what to do, as every day is a new adventure. (K)

  8. There is so much potential for humour in this prompt… it was quite creative to make the Thinker worry about the challenges of parenting. Your response is brilliant, Lesley. And your children look so happy and full of life. That’s more than worth the price of putting up with their pranks, and maybe a lock on the wardrobe.
