While walking in Devon, we witnessed a starling murmuration. I shall never forget it. It was not only the visual, but the sound! They first appeared on the scene from behind us. We heard them before we saw them. It was thrilling. Please enjoy this snippet of film taken on my pocket camera (sorry I couldn’t capture the sound in its magnificence).

    1. They are the most splendid of birds, hardytardy. ❤️ When you see a murmuration you shall never forget it. I’ve just posted a short film clip of a murmuration that we witnessed in Devon. I know it will be nothing compared to seeing it for real… but you might enjoy it. 💕
