For this week’s Melissa’s Fandango Flash Fiction Challenge #256 I wrote a free verse poem How many cows can you get on a bus? inspired by the photo below.

  6. Merci! C’est magnifique! Chickens and goats on buses–you have many a fabulous tale to tell. And that silly boy, thinking of ordering a van. Absurde!

    1. Haha! trés absurde!
      I went up the Sierra Nevada in a rickety bus with chickens and goats visiting friends. Four hours the bus took. When I asked when the return bus to Granada was, they told me in a week. I had to stay in this mountain village, wash my only clothes (I was only out for the evening) in a mountain stream. No electricity. Candlelight and fires only. I missed my flight home. 😂
