  1. Oh Lesley, I do love some introspection myself but inside your brain sounds such fun, I so enjoyed going along on your ride 😊and the artwork too! I want the original to frame with this poem in my memory bank….! Thank you my friend…. 💞

    1. Haha, thanks Suzanne! You are very welcome to frame it. I’m chuffed and complimented! ☺️🙏❤️ I drew it doodling when I wondered what on earth I could write for your prompt!🤓xxx
P.S. I also wrote a second poem—I’m trying to decide whether to publish it, or not… 💖

  5. Lesley, I really, really like your imagery of “lurking shadows of fearful, frightful fear” and “secret, dream dragons waging war with sin” … those images add depth to the contemplation you’ve sent me into…

  6. Lesley I love the probing questions! I especially love the lines “How many plasters are stuck to my heart/inside my chest?/Would I find my soul?/Or just a great big hole?” Lovely word choice with just a hint of rhyme!

  7. Deeply thought inducing. Introspection can be very dangerous. Best to do it when you have a firm center to always go back to🙏🏾🖤🖤

  8. i love your play on this prompt, Lesley. Contemplation, the way you framed certain risks associated with the process of unravelling. It had a few light moments which were then juxtaposed with the dark side of introspection. I agree..introspection ain’t for me.

    Tea sounds lovely 😍

Or just a great big hole?”

I don’t think there is a void in there. You are not soulless.❤️🙏🏻
