I wrote the Man Behind the Mask in response to Sadje’s #Whatdoyousee #234 writing and poetry prompt.
The Man Behind the Mask

Who is that man behind the mask?
Is he the phantom of the opera?
Is there someone I can ask?
He might be a film-star called Chopra?
Is he the phantom of the opera?
He’s looking this way.
He might be a film-star called Chopra?
Can you introduce me, okay?
He’s looking this way.
He appears a man of mystery.
Can you introduce me, okay?
Does anyone know his history?
He appears a man of mystery,
I think he’s looking at me.
Does anyone know his history?
Can you invite him for tea?
I think he’s looking at me.
Do you know who he is?
Can you invite him for tea?
I’m in a bit of a tizz!
Do you know who he is?
Is there someone I can ask?
I’m in a bit of a tizz!
Who is that man behind the mask?
