This week’s Poet of the Week for the W3 Poetry Prompt #106 is Punam Sharma. Punam’s challenge is to write a Palindrome poem (and if one is feeling ambitious, to write it on a theme of gratitude).
This is my first attempt at the form, so I kept my poem, Step Lightly and Lightly Step, short and simple as it’s difficult to write lines that make sense in reverse and forward. It is difficult, isn’t it? ~ It isn’t difficult, is it?
Step Lightly and Lightly Step

Think to dream and dream to think
Knowing not or not knowing
It goes around and around goes it
Going forward is forward going
Step lightly and lightly step
~gladly~
Step lightly and lightly step
going forward is forward going
it goes around and around goes it
Knowing not or not knowing
Think to dream and dream to think
