With cracker poised—
I want to win
the toy
and paper hat.
I make a wish,
We pull,
And—
Bang!
Then—
Splat!
The toy lands
Straight into
the brandy sauce dish.
The victory’s mine!
I’m king!
But my crown is sinking
In my wine.
