  1. 😂 how true is that of the Christmas cracker ….. I have a small head, they always end up around my neck, my husband has a big head lol and it always splits 😂😂 – every year he says we should swap hats ..! Great take on the prompt Lesley 💕

      1. It is lovely to have the energy to be back (but everything I do is still restricted) but I am so thankful to be improving … I even took my little dog for a walk round the block this morning …20 mins is about all I can manage but better than nothing and, well, I have lots of challenges now…. I can’t say I am bored any more as have so much to do … ☺️ xxxx

  2. I love your quadrille, Lesley! It reminds me of Christmases past at my grandparents’ house, when I always tried to win the toy – the paper crowns were passed around anyway. Those crowns never seem to fit, do they?

    1. Thank you so much, Kim! No, they never fit. 😁 Much better off making papier-mâché in a wineglass 🍷😁

    1. Eh? What? Really? That’s crackers! You pull them apart and they go bang! —and a toy, and a paper crown and a bad joke fall out of them. For example:
‘Why did the germ cross the microscope?’
‘To get to the other slide.’ 😂 (awful isn’t it? I used to write cracker jokes 🤣)
It’s not a Christmas dinner without crackers. I’d send you a box, but you can’t post them anymore because they’re explosive.
