The Rabbit Hole

     she peers down the dark hallway—
                                         where was the way out?
ml:	     in twisting shadows
     a white rabbit      scurries
db:            ~a shimmer~            a clue?
     the pocket watch melts to sand—
     time slips through her hands
ls: 	     falling            into an abyss
                 dreaming            of afternoon tea
ml: 	     swimming
        in a pot of black
       coffee
db:  	gasp!            /jolted/            awake
                      —drowning—
                                         —molten light—
