Car Snacks

A giant cat lives in the alpine pass—
Waits in a tunnel to eat fast cars
It likes red ones for lunch,
Bright blue ones for brunch,
And white ones for dessert come Christmas

I wrote what is probably the worst limerick ever, in response to Melissa’s Fandango Flash Fiction Challenge #308 (My excuse is that I am ill in bed) Better a bad poem by a live poet than a masterpiece by a dead one, right? I want to dedicate this poem to David, The Skeptics Kaddish, for helping to keep my spirits up. It’s your fault this limerick was written 😂.
Thank you, Melissa Lemay, for your fun prompt (Just what I needed).
