I wrote what is probably the worst limerick ever, in response to Melissa’s Fandango Flash Fiction Challenge #308 (My excuse is that I am ill in bed) Better a bad poem by a live poet than a masterpiece by a dead one, right? I want to dedicate this poem to David, The Skeptics Kaddish, for helping to keep my spirits up. It’s your fault this limerick was written 😂.

Thank you, Melissa Lemay, for your fun prompt (Just what I needed).

    1. Aww, thank you, Muri! 🤗
I sent out a search party for my sense of humour. It was found cowering under a medicine cabinet and in pretty poor condition. It is now in handcuffs. 😂
I am delighted you like the limerick! 🙏xxx

      1. Hehe!! It was only my nose that was running – but now has lapsed into its usual dormancy. No nose ring or other restraints needed!
