Hey,

do you mind,
you know 
you’re jumping the queue—
you were behind

you’re in the place
that was mine.

I’ve been standing in line
for a while,

shuffling slowly,
you give a shrug,
and I rile.

    loved your quadrille… standing in a long que, approaching a long que… it’s all there in photos and words… i really had to laugh as those are all the thoughts in my head when one skips the que for whatever reason ….

    A simple poem, but one with a lot of rhythm and a touch of irony. It talks about those situations where someone cuts in line and causes annoyance, but it also shows how something ordinary can become poetry. I liked the play on words and the image of an endless line.
