I penned The Queue, a poem of precisely 44 words (not counting the title), for the dโ€™Verse Poets Pub, hosted by WhimsyGizmo, incorporating a form of the word jump.

  12. A simple poem, but one with a lot of rhythm and a touch of irony. It talks about those situations where someone cuts in line and causes annoyance, but it also shows how something ordinary can become poetry. I liked the play on words and the image of an endless line.
