The Small Boy and His Dog
A micro poem

The small boy
and his dog
gaze at the river view.
“Do you think we can run and play in it—
do you?”
asks the small boy
to his dog.
“Woof,” his pet replied.
“I think you’re right,
we might get wet’
Let’s wait for the ebbing tide,
and watch the river flow,
standing side by side.”
