Scaredy Cat

“Get on my broomstick.
Now!” said the witch

The cat licked an itch
“Miaow!
I won’t go.
You ride too quick
It makes me sick.
I’m scared.”

She glared.
Adjusted her hat
and flew away
Splat!
Into a tree.

“I’m free,”
said the cat.

I enjoyed it! I rattled out 190 words at first! Great fun it was wielding a sharp editor’s knife to get it down to only 44 words!🔪 There are enough words left over for a book!
      Thanks Whimsygizmo xx

Mind you, she may have gone splat against the tree… but, do we know she’s dead?
