This image shows a young boy – 7-8 years old, with a cloth duster in his hand, erasing something off a blackboard. In the background, we can perceive the environment of a classroom.

  1. Oh I love this poem Lesley. I feel like that child, doing sums in front of the class and teacher. Thanks for joining in.

  3. Wonderful, Lesley!💕 Doing sums on the blackboard in front of the whole class is such a nightmarish experience. By the way, I hated maths and my maths teacher hated me. 😏

    1. Thanks, Punam! 😁🙏💕 I bet you didn’t get the chalk board rubber (made of wood) thrown at you! I fell asleep in class, snoring with my head resting on the radiator. zzzzzz

      1. Ouch! That must have hurt. 😦
He did throw chalk at one of my classmates when she didn’t know the correct answer. 🙄 Horrible misogynist teacher but we had fun despite him. 😉
        You are very welcome. 😊💕🙇‍♀️

  4. How precious. Seeing children learn is a gift in and of itself. My son is very great at math. I’m glad, because I am not.
