Dawn till Dusk

Dawn till Dusk is now a song!

Dawn till Dusk_Lyrics by Lesley Scoble_Music & Voice by Suno.com

I wrote my first American Cinquain in response to Yvette Calleiro’s prompt for the Tanka Tuesday Poetry Challenge No.15. to write an American Cinquain, or one of its variations, about a beginning or an ending (or maybe both). My poem gradually evolved into a Mirrored Cinquain. The syllable pattern for the American cinquain is 2-4-6-8-2, while the Mirror Cinquain follows a 2-8-6-4-2 structure.

THANKS
Thank you, Yvette for the inspiration—and for introducing me to this poetry form.
My sincere thanks to you, the reader, for taking the time to read my poem.
